Welcome to my place

Currently living by the coast in sunny Essex, England; but you may know me from Enfield, North London, where I grew up.

Perhaps you may even know me from Benidorm, Spain where I lived for many years, or perhaps you know of me from the worldwide web 'digital scene' where I spend much of my time!

Very interested in gadgets, electronics, satellites or anything digital I can take apart. I'd say I find fun in all complicated things. Additionally, I really enjoy language too, but I especially adore metaphors:
....step up to the plate and grab the bull by the horns....

Word meanings, history of words, song lyrics, and all foreign languages interest me very much. Lyrics merge language with music to produce great fun, and I class myself as very musical even though I only play instruments at simple basic level.

Extra enjoyment is gained from computer tech-language; encryptions, nanos, hexadecimal and binary etc.
Afterall, there are only 10 types
of people in the world:
Those who understand binary,
and those who don't....

Metaphor & music at its best, with a Spanish title too - Viva La Vida!

Chris Martin has to be the best English songwriter of our time?
Noel Gallagher is the best music composer though

A good mix of humour and music:

Chris Martin & Ricky Gervais singing a fav tune, what a great partnership!
The 'Tea For The Tillerman' Extras theme tune also adds to my interest.

Travis have to be my fav Scottish band. Old but a fun TOTP performance.

Fav Welsh band? Has to be Stereophonics of course.
This live performance vid shows just how good Kelly Jones really is.

No more music, just some of my kind of humour:
